Have I really messed up this application?

Ive been job hunting for around 1 year but the roles and salary that I would move for- it is slim pickings at the moment.

I seen a job I loved the look of, right skill set, industry is the same as my current role, I would be a really good fit.

Cultivated my CV and cover letter, and the uploaded the wrong blinking cover letter!!! Most of the content is the same but the one I uploaded states the wrong role and company name. Im mortified as this looks terrible- I dont have a chance of being shortlisted now do I? Not in this market.

Any hope or am I out?

Can you apply again? Just do a second application.

I have done that and still got the interview. The recruitment team’s goal is to find the right person for the job so if they think your cv matches the jd they will not reject you based on that.

I considered this... also if there had been a named recruiter on the advert I would have messaged them directly....thank you for the reply
