I recently left a project manager role to start contracting. I’ve secured a contract, which I’m pleased about, but I’ve had no other calls in months and it’s making me nervous about what happens when this one ends.
Everyone keeps saying September is a busy month, but it still feels very quiet. I’m new to contracting, so I don’t know whether this is normal or whether I should be worried.
Are any other contractors finding the same, particularly those in project management? How are you finding the market at the moment?
