Cried at work after feeling overwhelmed and taken for granted

I cried at work today, I literally feel like I broke down in front of my manager. I'm just so fed up of people dumping jobs on to me and when I try and delegate to someone else they just ignore it. Getting fed up of people doing half a job.
I'm the longest serving staff member and I'm starting to feel that people think that they can just dump jobs on to me knowing I have the knowledge to complete them.
I enjoy my job and I care but this is the first time in 15 years I have ever cried.

I hope your manager was supportive. Sometimes it all gets too much - I've cried at work, I've seen others cry at work - it's absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. Any manager worth their salt would be looking at what they could do to help you
