Where to advertise a genuine flexible remote role on a budget?

Where would you go if you wanted to look for a genuine employed flexible remote role? I work for a small not for profit and am doing some research as we want to advertise such a role but so many of the remote/work from home groups and sites are just full of MLM type schemes and so don't seen appropriate. We don't have a big budget so looking for free or inexpensive options. All advice much appreciated!

LinkedIn. You can just make a post and people can share it. And I think indeed is still free if your posting only the occasional job.

Linked in, charity jobs or indeed I'd say.

What's the role out of interest?

Makepumpseleven · 01/09/2026 00:23

CharityJob, but be prepared for hundreds of applicants.

I'm looking for a role like this and I tend to use Charity job and the Work from home hub.

Thanks for the suggestions. It is a part time operations coordinator, essentially a varied senior admin role.

Thanks I've dropped the Work from Home Hub a line.

Thanks I've dropped them a line. The people who follow us in the main aren't likely to be our target audience for the role unfortunately.

whats the role, I'm looking for something fully remote, maybe very occassional travel (I'm in Scotland and disabled). If its part time, even better. feel free to pm!

Can you post on here if allowed.

If you’re based in Scotland the Good moves website is good.

Great. It seems to be a one woman band but pretty successful. I’ll be looking out for it! :)

Pretty sure Op would have to pay Mumsnet if she wanted to advertise the job on here

I think there is a cost to advertise on here and as a not for profit we try and avoid any costs we can but we'll definitely consider it.

Do feel free to pm to it me please :)

It’s so hard as so many job websites start to become full of spam. The work from home
hub is good though and I have seen lots of people report they’ve got jobs from it on their Facebook page which has become a bit of a community.

I was horrified at how many I was looking at were full of spam! PM sent

If it is local people with time who might like to do voluntary work to keep cv up to date, I actually think a lot of school mums are well placed for this. So many reports of women out of work 40+ because they took time for kids off work and now AI is screening them out. I would put an advert on the local school WA or noticeboard.

elrider · 02/09/2026 11:52

There is also a good part-time/school hours/flexible one called 923 Jobs.

Please could you PM the job details to me too?
