do you love it? hate it? Regret going into that career or absolutely living it and thriving?

would love to hear loads of feedback and also any HCA’s that work in maternity and how you got into that line of work?

I don't work in this area but there have been many episodes of Womans Hour devoted to how they are hugely short staffed, bullying culture, often leave for different jobs, have huge emotional toll for not being able to offer the best care to the women they look after, etc etc. Well worth looking through on BBC Sounds to hear the nitty gritty. David Cameron promised 10k new midwives way back when and we never saw those...it has been downhill rapidly ever since.
