I'm coming up to the end of my first trimester and preparing to tell my employer I'm pregnant.
For some context I work in a senior role with 6 direct reports, in a fairly specialised industry and have been with my current employer in this role for 2 years.
Prior pregnancy was with another employer in a less senior role and they just spread my caseload across my peers until I returned.
I'm curious to hear stories from others on how your employer managed your maternity cover? And if you were able to return to the same role you left once your leave was over?
