Anxious about leaving NHS role with no replacement in place

I’m finishing an NHS clinical role tomorrow. I will not be replaced. I’m finding myself anxious about missing things that need doing and leaving them unfinished, letting people down especially as my role is being terminated and there will be no one to pick up the pieces. This is not a humblebrag about me being super conscientious. Please help me see sense!

Kindly, it’s not your problem, everyone who stays behind will know that you can only do so much, I imagine they will take it out on their line manager or whoever decided you were surplus to requirements. Honestly try to enjoy your final day and good luck for the next phase.

File it under ‘not my problem’.

This is a Them problem.

Thanks everyone, I needed someone other than my long suffering DH to say this! Work becomes such a habit it’s hard to stop. Looking forward to some me time before I job hunt again.

Kindly, there's nothing you can do about it. The ship will sail on regardless.
