Job Interview Today

I have a job interview today (very soon!). It’s for a part admin role with the Civil Service. I have a lot of short term roles on my CV due to balancing family needs, however this job would fit perfectly with life now and would love it as a long term role I could get my teeth into. Worried the short term roles will go against me. How do I settle my nerves? Are there tips or wee phrases that have helped anyone else before going in?

Re the short term roles, I'd go with something like "the job market is very challenging at the moment but I've been able to pick up some short term roles and each one has taught me something different such as...".

Deals with the questions and presents you as someone who is resilient and curious

My Cv is three pages long as I've been freelance all my working life. However its never stopped me getting roles with the hours and hourly rate I have wanted.

It doesn't always go against you, some savvy employers like people to have varied experience and rapid ups killing.
