I left my previous job for another a couple of months ago and had issues with pay several times( late, not informing HMRC on time leading to massive issues with UC, wrong tax codes)
Anyway I received a payslip this month the month after my final payslip - stating I had a tax refund but I haven't actually had any payment!
So checked with HMRC and yes I should have received this.
I contacted my boss via WhatsApp (usual form of contact) last week, it's been read but no reply, chased up this week and nothing.
I'm going to contact citizens advice for official next steps but just wonder if anyone else had similar? It's not enough for small claims but money still owed.
It's just him who sorts pay, no HR or other managers/higher up.
Just don't get how business owners can just not pay money owed and ignore contact!
