Recommendations of jobs around school run

i have a lovely job which is part time 3 days a week, well paid and I enjoy it BUT it’s stressful at times, and it’s a LOT with running the house and kids as husband works long hours so as my youngest goes to school this year I’m looking for something for one day around the school hours so preferably 9-3ish give or take as I’d still like a day for house/me to catch up with friends etc
something I don’t do now as my two days off a week I have my youngest and she goes to nursery the other 3 days when I work.

There aren’t even hours available at my job which may change and I’m ok with a second income as long as I disclose it to them and it doesn’t interfere with my job which it won’t so any ideas on where to start looking? Obviously I’m limited but I’m sure there must be something someone somewhere would be happy with a few hours a week?

I don’t want care work/retail as I’ve been there done that over the years. My job is in safeguarding/housing so doesn’t matter if it’s not aligned but I’m experienced in admin/customer service/ finance - I have a HR qualification but don’t want a HR job, I dont mind payroll, that was ok.

Maybe something like virtual PA or Im happy with self employment so wondering wether to contact places/recruitment agencies or linked in etc

I’d have thought you’d struggle to get paid employment for 6 hours per week. The employers costs associated with that would be disproportionate. Maybe self employed is your best bet. Or casual/bank work?

there used to be an agency called something like ten-to-two. I don’t know if that exists.

or I’ve seen parents volunteering at their child’s school and then moving into paid roles when they come up. Maybe an option?

Does your industry have a quality standard that needs to be met? I work in a similarish role (not housing so may not be a thing) and have over last 6 years built up self employed work completing quality audits for the holders of the various quality marks we all have to have. Works well as is totally up to me how many assessments I take on at each time.
