So, I am in a position where I am in a bum on chair job. So I do have free time at work.
I am thinking that a Project management qualification might be handy, as I do get roped into handling things like that (from quote, procurement, mobilization, to getting the staff, keeping a tab on them, then to demob, and invoicing). Not big level though, I have been involved in some capacity in that.
BUT, I admit I am a bit bamboozled on what are the genuine online training providers.
I did my degree with OU, so I know of them, but there seem to be so many offering these courses, and so many sponsored. A few I have looked at, then looked up the company its its a random building - like one here literally in student halls...
Other option is a Facilities Management course.
I cant really do anything that involves using my work as part of the training (say QHSE) as we don't have any big enough projects, or a guaranteed work plan for the next 2 quarters. That, and I want to be able to do it should I leave here ;-).
Anyone knowledgeable in this area?
