Struggling to find work after two years and seeking motivation

Sorry bit of a dramatic title, but still I feel so fed up of not being able to find work.

I've been unemployed for two years, money has literally ran out and so has my ability to pick myself back up. I seem to get to the interview stage and "do myself proud" in the competency based interviews but I never get selected for the role. I'm naturally an introvert so I guess it doesn't come naturally to me.

Can anyone recommend any motivational podcasts that they found helpful? Anyone been in a similar situation and found any helpful resources or have any good advice?

Thank you in advance.

Are you able to volunteer so you can get back into the rhythm of work whilst you look? You can even volunteer online.

Hi, yes I do volunteer! It's really rewarding although nothing to do with the line of work I want.

After two years it might be time to broaden your job search and look at something that might not be in the 'line of work' you want?

I am job hunting at the moment and It is really tough but being a bit flexible about the jobs you will consider might be a good idea.

Retraining/updating your skills is another option. There are some free courses for people who are long term unemployed.
