Did revalidation and sickness leave affect my return to nursing?

My PIN lapsed after long term sickness and having no Signatures for my Revalidation Preparations.I have done so much about my situation. My Role changed to a lower Band and my salary went down.I have done almost everything and NMC have been great. The other challenge was Occ-Health Clearence.Still pending ,I have had a million emails.letters,face-to-face ,one-to-one conversations but still want to Return to Nursing. My employers did try to keep me working but I think I need a role Review.RCN were very supportive but it took a long time so I ended up attending Research Teams.I am happy with anything to do with Research but times is limited. My story is so long that I might come back to complete.I read something on Newsnet and felt more than energised ! I am started a Group on FB- I wan't my Nursing Back/I want my Profession back! I suppose I will be talking about Nursing forever! Can I say Revalidation ruined my Career?I don't think so.I have completed my Revalidation Documents before and my Manager at the time went through the Documents with me and was impressed. At the time I was scared I had to enter a Police Caution but we discussed it in a professional manner and I was relaxed.Hope I will Return to the Register. At times I fill I am missing out 😔
