Hello,
I'm feeling sick I have received 2 job offers in hours of each other and really wasn't expecting it to go this way.
The first job who offered me first (a part time one) I didn't really think I had a cat in hells chance off has phoned apologetic for keeping me waiting by a day or so late as they are trying to see if I could get a full-time post rather then have to re-interview or if I can start at 22.5 and then just be awarded full-time hours whilst in the role.
Then from a second interview for an nhs contractor I've had where I'd been told to hear from the actual hospitals HR as to whether I'd be offered the role following 2nd 'view, (didn't hear at timeline given so nearly gave in, thinking I'd been unsuccessful) so without asking if I'd like the job I received an email congratulating me following my verbal agreement, with an completely different impression of who is doing the back ground screening.
If I go to the hospital's HR would they know what I was talking about when it comes to the contractor? I didn't apply for the job with contractor on any nhs system and I now recall my interviewer (who is an NHS employee I believe) for the second interview saying they were on a learning curve as to how recruitment worked and I genuinely haven't done any accepting or decline. (there is something about this one which makes me think I'm may have been the reserve candidate to begin with) I wonder if I've got this second job offer by mistake somehow? When I look on the contractors platform it say's application in progress. (still)
What a tangle.
