Passenger assistants

Hoping someone might be able to give me some advice on this please.

Do any of you work as a passenger assistant during term times, and do other PA work during the school holidays?

Not me personally but I do know a few people who are PA’s on SEN transport. It’s a very early start at 7.00am as SEN schools are so few students often travel long distances to get to school.

You’ll only have a few hours between morning and afternoon sessions if you do both. I know of one pa who is on standby to step in and cover for other pa’s . This means he can’t do anything else in case he is needed but is still paid.
