Enhanced DBS says wait for certificate before decision, should I worry?

Can anyone help me, I have recently had an enhanced DBS done for a voluntary role at a local theatre. It has taken forever to be completed, but has now been done. I went on today to see if it had been posted. It stated it was posted yesterday but had the following sentence underneath:

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please wait for the certificate before making a recruitment, employment or licensing decision regarding this applicant.

What does this mean, I'm very worried. I have never been convicted of anything or done anything wrong. I have looked online but there are conflicting explanations. Some say it is standard on the form, others say its because either a similar name or date of birth matches/criminal offences/unable to confirm barred. Please is there anyone who has experience of this and can reassure me.

It is standard policy for most if not all organisations that need staff/volunteers to have an enhanced DBS check. I have one myself for a volunteering role so no need to worry.

Don't worry at all — this is completely standard wording and means nothing bad about you or your record.

The sentence "IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please wait for the certificate before making a recruitment, employment or licensing decision regarding this applicant" appears automatically on the DBS tracking page every single time an Enhanced DBS certificate is issued and posted. It has done for years.

Your certificate will arrive in 1-3 working days.

Thank you all 3 of you for reassuring me. I did wonder if a recent mental health issue would appear on there section 136 but it looks like it probably wont as I wasnt aggressive or violent just had a mental health crisis

Standard working stop panicking. Good luck in your new role
