Side hustle

Can anyone recommend a side hustle that would earn a decent income. I currently work 65 hours a week6 days a week. Need a better work life balance.

The way to make decent money with a side hustle is look at what you’re good at/can already do - there are no generalist ‘decent’ ones, anything that’s easily doable by anyone is not going to be well paid.

I occasionally pick up freelance consulting jobs in my (very niche) industry, which pays far more than dog walking/surveys etc. If I couldn’t do that I’d probably start a side hustle making birthday cakes (because it’s a hobby and people have suggested paying before)

Another good exercise is to look at what’s needed in your area. There are few after school groups in my area and the ones that operate make ££. Tutors - especially for primary maths/english - also seem quite thin on the ground. If you go on your local FB groups, have a scroll and look at the posts asking for services. If one has a lot of ‘oh following because I need this too’ and not many recommendations, it’s a good place to start (again, if you have or can learn those skills quickly) - good luck!
