Senior project management self employed rates in construction

Anyone know what the standard self employed rate is for someone working at Senior level in project management in the construction industry. By comparison they were earning £95k last year for a tier-one contractor Kier Group. After resigning, ex is claiming his salary has gone down to a £34k for his child maintenance calculations. Trying to work out if this is credible...

I work in public sector construction. Even for us, £34k is a graduate + 5 years type PM salary. It feels very low for a senior PM.
