Should I contact the recruiter?

Someone reached out to me on linkedin on Tuesday to see if I wanted to apply for a job. The person was from the company that was hiring as was the 'talent manager'.

I applied on Wednesday and they called me on Thursday for a pre-screening call. They said the next stage of the process would be an assessment, but didn't necessarily say that I would definitely be contacted.

Should I send a message to see if I am going to make it to the next stage, or leave it a bit longer?

They screened you, youve been screened if they were progressing youd know about it. Call if you want to

Personally I'd ask for rough timelines on when you'll hear and if you pass pre-screening when interviews were likely to take place.

@ThirdStormtjats a good idea- thanks. I will leave it until Thursday I think, so then it's been a week
