Rolling sick pay

Does anyone know how to work out my sick pay entitlement?
I have a rolling 12 month sick scheme.
I was off for 7 weeks last year starting 7th April due to an operation.
I am now off for 4 weeks - this started 16th March.
I get 6 months full pay
I'm wondering how this all works?!

The 7 weeks you had last April still exists as it’s rolling for 12 months and hasn’t passed yet. As such you’ve already used 7 weeks of the 6 month pay if you see what I mean.
