So due to serious staff shortage as a main team member is on long-term sudden sick leave my work load doubled.
A month later with issues at home I've been struggling and feel burnt out.
I have audhd too and my manager knows this.
After reaching breaking point due to a bullying older colleague who is a known bully am I right to be annoyed this got so far without support for myself.
Things have been put in place for some help
Do managers not realize the impact on neurodivergent colleagues or do they not care.

Oh op
I feel your pain we’re very short staffed where I work too and it can get a bit overwhelming
you need to tell them it’s just too much and ask them to do a stress risk assessment.

Thank you.I will.

All the time you (or anyone) carry on getting the job done, the employer has no incentive or reason to change anything.

I hope you feel better soon and can establish some boundaries so you only do a normal workload. 💐

It's too much.I really struggle to speak up though.

I had this the workload was just too high with patronising contractors bullying and demanding work be done.
it got to the point I cracked and went off with stress.
after 2 weeks- contractor has gone and they are interviewing for another member of the team.

it’s frustrating that it took me cracking for management to take action.
