Temping

I’m stuck in the job hunt cycle of my industry disappearing and no SLT roles. People move or are made redundant and they aren’t being replaced.
Have been searching for 6 months this now. Tried to pivot without success or am
deemed too senior. Recruiters chat as my cv is good but nothing suitable for me. Been a bumpy couple of years after redundancy a really good fixed term contract and 6 months in a role that I took in haste and hated it and failed probation (it was sales and they had unrealistic expectations so I was happy to go).
Decided to go for temping and have been offered 6 months @ 30k..
Its 25% of my previous salary…so will pay some bills.
Take it or wait?

Take it for now, you need the money, and look for something better in the meantime.

What's your industry?

I too would take it, because its easier to find another job when already working. You can continue looking or something within that company might come up too.

@KvotheTheBloodless media and entertainment ops in a niche area..
Thanks both I think I should take it. I’ve never not worked and it’s knocking my confidence.
My ego can’t quite get to grips with an hourly rate I was paid 20 years ago.
