How to make money on maternity leave?

Any ideas of how to make some additional money on maternity leave or any experiences you’d be willing to share?

I don’t have loads of free time with having a baby so would likely be restricted to nap times / weekends but I’d love to take as long as I can off without having to go back to work early!

have you checked the conditions of your employment, as much of the time you have to declare any second ‘jobs’ or sources of income.
