I work with one of the major tech giants who are laying people off to invest in AI.
At some point in the future AI could do my role. It’s about 60% admin based at the moment.
Management are in the process of completing talent reviews and in the event of a RIF I suspect that my role would be at risk.
Where do the likes of me start?
I need to upskill but what courses are valuable?
What is everyone else planning on doing?
I have experience with software support, cloud project management and Learning & Development (Digital learning content creation and coordination)
I’m looking at AI courses as I assume being AI literate would help.
My learning & development experience could be valuable with companies moving towards digital learning and pre recorded online versions of training as opposed to webinars or in person training - but it doesn’t feel enough
Long story short - what the hell are we all going to do for a living when AI takes over?!!!!
