Good accountant in SW London area?

Need accountant - ideally someone used to working with disorganised journo's. Can anyone recommend a good one?

I used to have one based in Hammersmith (am freelance illustrator)- am now in Hants. He was good (son of my dad's best friend too !)

My friend is setting up on her own. She used to work for some big names, do huge scale auditing etc. Let me know if you'd be interested. She's in Colliers Wood.

Colliers Wood bit far for me - Hammersmith sounds good. Just need someone who can help ensure that I claim for everything I'm entitled to - and sort out my expenses v expenses billed to clients etc.

how much do accountants cost for a yearly appraisal of yr accounts, filling in a tax return etc. Is £600 in London area about normal? I was paying 300 for High Wycombe but my accountant there retired.

mine is based in Wiltshire and cost me about £250 last year - my accounts being very simple
