I'm not certain about RCN's specific policies on this love, it likely depends on the complexity of the case and what stage you're at. Best thing is to ring your RCN rep directly and ask what legal support they'll provide for your situation, they should be upfront about whether you'd get a barrister or a solicitor and at which stages. If you're not happy with what they offer, you can also ask about getting your own representation and whether they'd contribute to costs. Don't be afraid to push them on the details, that's what your membership is for.
