Affected by bullying at work years later

Im struggling at work at the moment I am full of anxiety because something is happening that reminds me of when I was bullied 7 years ago. I just don't know how to cope is it normal for someone to be affected years later?
I never reported the bullying or told anyone, so no one knows it happened. The people who bullied me are no longer there and I have a new manager now but I just can't seem to forget what happened.

I don't think it's abnormal. I wasn't bullied exactly but had a job for four years which I left in 2012, where the senior team were bitchy and liked to belittle people. I still have stressful dreams about the job and those people once every few months. Luckily I've since worked with lots of lovely respectful people who helped me realise that the culture in that office wasn't normal.

I was the same, took me years to get over it, and every time something bad happens in a new job, i go right back to that time - had a mental breakdown and had to go through a tribunal process, but got a (big) settlement in the end.
I'm not alone either. see https://www.bbc.co.uk/worklife/article/20210415-why-long-term-workplace-trauma-is-a-real-phenomenon
