Is every workplace just a nightmare these days?

Does anyone work in a well-regulated workplace or is everywhere dysfunctional? My industry is particularly challenged but speaking to friends it seems like they have similar issues - constant change, the threat of AI, overpaid consultants and project managers making bad recommendation, a disrespect for the staff and the clients / customers, corporate greed, low salaries. It’s depressing! Tell me some good news please - or have a vent

Teaching has always been a hugely time heavy job. You have to be 100% present in the classroom during the day and also use your evenings for planning and marking. For many years it has been very difficult to attract and retain teachers. However, teacher recruitment and retention is now at its best since 2010 as young graduates realise teaching is much less likely to be affected by AI in terms of the staffing than many other jobs.
So, positive news about schools and schools as a work base.

Unfortunately a vent here too.
I feel like im going mad.
We changed to a new way of working, that wasnt planned out at all, has caused more silos and variation in process/quality, we dont get as much done as we used to... its terrible. We aren't a 'we hate change' team, the new way could work in principle, but the execution has been awful and management wont let us all get our heads together and decide on a way to do it thats clear, but management arent keen but dont have any explanation as to why! And I dont mean 'they have explained, I just didnt like the answer' I mean, they just keep going 'we can figure it out' but wont let us actually do that...
People have quit over it, have raised concerns respectfully via manager, the employee survey, but its just being ignored. The lack of explanation is just so confusing. Nothing is ever planned properly.
And then additional to this, the amount of corporate bollocks our company is still churning out... im sure there's data to show that this stuff does help engage people, I would genuinely love to see it, because all I see is disengagement. Its all so cliche - it was cliche 10 years ago, why are we still doing it!
