I have recently started a job that has minimal.holiday pay and no sick pay, when I took the job on discussion I was told i could continue the same benefits I had from my previous employer. Stupidly, I didnt read my contract correctly, because of our discussion and the lack of sick pay is discreetly in an employees handbook given to me following my.probation. I have completed the probation.
I'm keen to find alternative employment, I would like to find a role with sick pay and more holiday for financial security / to live a bit. The team I work with are efficient and so lovely we all work.well.together. would you look for another role? I keep thinking I can make.this job work but the more I think about it, the more resentment I feel?
I am just putting it out there to see what other people would do in my situation. I just get by, my salary is average for the UK and if I was poorly I would be in trouble financially, I am working on saving at the minute.
