Would I be out of line to suggest this?

I started this current role in early 2024.
Its a bit of a hodge podge position, and i am now doing different sruff along side what I was hired for.
The company only give pay rises if you meet KPIs. My role does not have defined KPIs due to rhe hodge podge.

Deapite making over 35mil in 2024, that has been kept by head company as a 'consultaion fee', so our location is of course running on a defecit now and have to make up all our running costs through taking in work. So spending is being restricted.

I have to admit its been a bit crap being on same wages since i started, and im actually almost earing now what my old role in a local council was, given the way that pay tracks (at a lower level).

I'm feeling hugely unvalued, as im also doing the work of 1 ex staff, now contractor who charges £300 a day for their services, that he conducta from home and well, the load of work done is questionable - as it is measurable!

I've calculated based on the % my wages were above the min wage that rather than pay, extra I could just work 1 day less a week and it would be the same value of labour/same salary. And, it wont affect the amount of work.i do tbh, as we do have some really quiet periods where its just me in the office.....

I'm at that point where its that or a new job...
