Anyone know much about NHS recruitment?

If a role closed Monday night when would you expect to hear if you've been selected for interview? And also do you usually get an (automated) email to say if you weren't successful or do they just ghost you?

I work for the NHS. You would probably hear within a week of the closing date if you had an interview. Longer if you haven’t.

Thank you. So they do usually come back to say unsuccessful then? Thats good to know. Although hopefully i WILL be successful so wont matter!

We have 5 days to shortlist and then everyone receives an email, either inviting them to interview or advising they were unsuccessful. Not everyone manages to shortlist in 5 days though, depending on workload - but that's the guidelines.

Ah thanks everyone. I really REALLY want this but I haven't got NHS experience so we'll see. I have a lot of transferable skills and it is something I've wanted to do for a long time.

Good luck. I didn’t have NHS experience either but had good examples of previous employment prepared for interview and luckily I received an offer.
