Hello, hoping someone may be able to help.

I work 0.5, my working days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

I get 15.5 days leave, plus bank holidays on top as an additional. As I'm 0.5 I get half the bank holidays. I can choose to work a different day if I dont want to take a bank holiday off. I've been told to look at it as if I have 3.7 hours per bank holday.

With there being 5 Monday and 3 Friday bank holidays. Do I need to work 4 Mondays, and then I can have one off as well as the Fridays. Or do the Friday ones mean I can use those against Mondays as they are not my working days? So I would only need 2.5 Monday ones?

There are 8 bank holidays and you get half so 4 bank holidays. 5 are on Mondays so you can take your 4 days off to cover 4 Monday bank holidays and you’ll need to work another day of the week on the 5th bank holiday week. Fridays don’t matter as you don’t work a Friday and your bank holidays are pro-rated.

Look at it as 19.5 days holiday, but you need to book leave if a bank holiday falls on a working day.

Do it like this, much easier.
Or convert all A/L into hours if you don't work full days equivalent to 1.0 staff.
Each week with a BH you need to work/book leave to cover what is your contracted weekly hours.
