Negative comments from a colleague

Recently had a restructure within my organisation, I have a new role. The person who took over my previous job has made comments about the standard of my work and how is sorting out the mess I left behind. Often saying it loudly in the office for everyone to hear.

It's relentless though and she won't let it go, how do I handle this ? It's that bad I want to leave but I'm late fifties and I am worried will find it hard to get something else.

is your previous line manager their line manager? If so I would approach them to establish if there are genuine issues. If not the individual is damaging your reputation

Wholly unprofessional
Definitely take it further as pp suggested .
Hope you get a favourable outcome.
