Returning to work part time

I am due back to work soon when my maternity leave finishes. I used to work full time and will be returning on a 16 hour contract. I have had my accrued holiday leave at full time rate. However, my work are easing me back in and using my accrued bank holidays so I can start back on 8 hours for a few weeks.
When I look at my rota on the app, it seems that they have been entered at a part time rate ie 2 bank holidays each week and 8 hours work which totals 16 hours. Surely I should be able to get my bank holidays at the full time rate? Obviously I am aware that going forward they will be at the part time rate. Any advice would be great, cheers.

I don’t understand, have they removed the holiday pay at full rate from you? Or are they just using less of it than you expected as you are part time now? I.e it will take longer to use accrued leave rather than having it removed

Sorry, normally when I was full time I got 8 hours for a bank holiday. But work have used 2 bank holiday days at 4 hours each to make up the 8 hours, rather than one at the old full time rate. Hope I’ve explained it right.
