Changing Job- sooner or wait

Background
Worked for company A 5 years. Had a year away at company B and then returned to company A again for just over 2 years.
18 months ago started work at Company C
My dilema- I moved for the experience and step up in job title, the job has taught me alot but the pay is poor vs the kind of role it is. My job is usually well rewarded with bonuses/commisions (Account Management) but company C is very poor at this. I have proposed improvements and presented like for like examples but my Boss kicks it down the line. I have brought in over 2 million additional revenue in 2025 and grown the client base by 48%- no bonus.
Also, Things I have come to expect as work place benefits also non existent. (Poor pension, no PMI. Etc)

Question- how long is acceptable to stay in this role until I move on to a new one? It will take a while to find a job, apply. Hopefully be shortlisted, go through process and fingers crossed be successful and give 3 months notice. Would it be a good idea to start now or wait another 6 months and get 2 solid years under my belt in this role- which may present me as a better candidate?

Any thoughts welcomed!

I would start looking now and make sure the new company rewards you for bringing in new business. Company C is taking the Mick.

Move on if unhappy, by the time you have given notice etc it will be another 6 months anyhow. Good luck x
