CV help

So I’m looking for work again and I put a post about this on LinkedIn and got a lot of responses from recruiters. However on interacting with them it then seems they’re trying to sell my a CV updating package. My CV has been recently reviewed and edited by an employment specialist through the government.

Is this common? My faith in recruiters right now has gone through the floor.

Recruitment is slow at the moment. They are offering other services in order to boost their fairly sparse commission. You just say no thx.

No. I dealt with a lot of recruiters about four months ago and none of them even hinted at this or other paid services.
