Mat pay advice needed please?

I've been sat all day waiting on wages which turns out I'm not even entitled too..

I hadn't realised maternity pay is only for 39 weeks and the remainder is unpaid, since having our baby times have been tough and days/weeks have rolled into one (baby brain doesnt help)

I'm now up shit creek without a paddle 3 days before Christmas and absolutely no idea what to do. Should my work have contacted me and made me aware time was nearly up or should I have contacted them?
We have literally no food and sitting with zero in the bank.

We have a few things for Xmas day, not went over board but also get parents guilt as this is Ds's first as a big brother so we felt he needed that little bit more if that makes sense.

Xmas dinner isn't a big worry as we can just jazz up a normal dinner and sit at the big table lol I could just be doing with some fridge-freezer bits and cupboardy stuff but we'll do what a few have suggested and contact CA & HV to get by.

Any payments due arent until mid January now
