Interview query

I had a interview last week and have been told the following
"The recruitment paperwork is being sent to HR today and further details will follow asap."

What would u take from this? I know it could be either way

In lieu of a job offer, would take 'recruitment paperwork' to mean the outcomes of the interviews are now with HR for the final decision. As you say, it could be either way. Whenever I have been successful for a new role it's always been a phone call first and the paperwork followed later. Good luck.

Yes thats why I am thinking that I have not got the job, as like you say they usually call.
