What should I put down on an application for for my reason for leaving my recent job?

I was working in an NHS admin role when news came round that the Trust was making cut backs on temps. I and others had to leave our jobs subsequently, but what reason for leaving do I put on future application forms as I am now unemployed for no reasons of our own? 🤷 Do I put redundancy or end of contract for example?
TIA.

So you were employed on a temp basis and the contract wasn't renewed due to cut backs? I'd just say that:

Temp role - not renewed due to budget cut backs.

"end of temporary contract" will cover it

End of temporary contract
