Not sure this is the right topic. But anyway.

Speaking for a friend[well not me].

My friend works 3 days a week in a professional role.
She would work at least 4, but has a young child.

She gets bored.
She says her head, if not working, is overthinking.

What can she occupy her head with, on the 4 days she is not working?
Her child is not yet old enough to play board games properly.

Just all the normal things people do when not working surely? Go for walks, meet friends/family, cycling, gardening, knitting, crosswords, craft, baking, write a novel. Whatever floats her boat.

I learnt German. Tried to translate each thing I says into German.

Thanks.

Some things there she may not have thought of.

As regards say walking, her head is bored even as she takes DD to the park.

That is an idea.

Not sure she was into languages at school.
But she is a few years older now, so who knows.
