Just that really. Wondering whether to apply and wondering how returners are treated and if anyone has advice or their experiences to share.

Hi I came back after children I left for about 6 years but there were others on the course who had lapsed for much longer. I worked in a trust who paid B3 for my hours during the return to practice course and I had a b5 job to move into afterwards ( not sure if this is still being offered) another local trust wanted the return to practice to be on an unpaid basis but again offered b5 on completion

ive been back 8n practice for over 10 years now and gone on to complete further study / progression in a whole new area of practice I hadn’t considered first time around! .

Thanks for your response @MoreHairyThanScary . So you would recommend it based on your experience?

We’ve had a couple of return to practice students and employed a couple of them

Were they quick to pick up the skills again?
