Help me build up the courage to quit my job

I know I’m replaceable but…. struggling to build up the courage to quit my job. It’s a 3 month notice period and main reason for wanting to leave is the unrealistic workload and hours and it’s getting worse. My mental health and confidence are drained.
I plan to have some time out and have savings to live off so no concerns about immediate future and live in an area with good job market.
Please share any advice or your best ‘I quit’ moment!!

When I first opened this post, I was so confused as I literally could have written this myself. Minus the savings.

I've only been there three months but its just not working. I'm stressed all the time and have no patience with my DC.

I've written my resignaion email twice and not sent it.

Thanks for sharing. Are you on a probationary period at all? I feel that would be an easier ’get out’ but appreciate I am not in your shoes!

I know I’m making excuses but at my place, emailing your resignation is not really the culture. I would need to call my manager into a meeting room and discuss - eugh!!

Write the resignation letter (and print it out) - it means the meeting can be shorter.

There is no joy like leaving a job.
