Hi,
so I am just trying to figure out how an average weekly pay of the 12 weeks is worked out. As no matter what I try I can’t get the same amount as they say 🙈
so on my payslips I have hours worked, holiday hours, tips and the deductions I have tax, national insurance and a pension.
thank you

Our payroll software works it out!

Don't forget there is a cap.

Ask your payroll team to explain yours specifically to you. When I had to do it with my team who weren’t paid monthly we literally had an excel spreadsheet and checked it individually with payroll, hr and the insolvency team line by line. We went through it with anyone who asked as if you have various factors it can be so confusing. I’m sorry you’re in this situation.

Ignore tax, NI and pension deductions - they aren’t pay.

Tips won’t count either.

So it’s your pay plus holiday pay.
