Book leave? Say you have an appointment?

Zempy · 05/11/2025 17:01

Most people book holiday or a medical appointment.

If push comes to shove it’s a few hours sick leave (depending on the arrangements)

Book leave. It's none of the company's business what the leave is for. As PP said, book sick leave if needed. The company pays for your time, it doesn't own you.

I don't know anyone who tells their current employer they want time off for an interview (unless you are being made redundant). Just book holiday.
