Sales and customer relations

I work in this area and currently have what I can only describe as existential anxiety about how I'm performing. I've done this before successfully but the systems are different and there's been a lot of crisis management so far.

There's a few aspects. We heavily use a database and I'm not finding it a motivating way to track progress.

I don't know how to divide my week/time up best between sales leads, pitches, existing relations, crises, internal comms, in a way that is motivating.

There's also murmurs of new products to sell and these will require some pivoting which is also making me feel stressed.

I need to build in some accountability for myself like mini targets.

Does anyone from a sales background have advice?

Set out core hours within your day

8.30 to 10.00 - follow up emails
10.00 to 3.00 - customer meetings and management of ongoing sales
3.00 to 5.00 - customer outreach and meeting prep

Aim to meet each of your customers every month/6 weeks/quarter - whatever works for your caseload.

Don't enter a meeting without an agenda or purpose.

Aim to be proactive rather than reactive, start the month with a plan in mind. Which customers are going to help you meet your targets this month?

That is brilliant, thank you so much.
