Redundancy and no notice compensation while on maternitt

hi, so my workplace has closed and made everyone redundant. I’m currently on mat leave. I know I get redundancy pay but I’m not sure if I’m entitled to the no notice compensation? Also do I need to do anything to ensure I keep getting my mat pay? The company is still going but my store closed with immediate effect.

If you are made redundant without notice while on maternity leave, you are entitled to compensation for statutory redundancy pay (if you have over two years of service), notice pay, and accrued holiday pay. Your Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) continues, and your employer can deduct SMP for the same period from your notice pay, but not your redundancy pay. You should also be paid for your notice period and holiday pay based on your normal pay rate before the redundancy occurred.

contact your employer. Don’t let them fob you off.
