Toxic colleagues

I am quite depressed at the moment. At work a colleague lied to my manager’s manager and said I did not action something which would have put a child’s safety at risk. I was spoken to by the manager who refused to let me look in to it and asked me on the spot, kept going by assumptions reported to them and talking over me.

After HR investigated and I spoke to them the truth came out and it was another colleague who failed to do their job. I feel very wary now around this colleague who lied and manager who refused to speak to me properly. How can you trust people who would try and make you a scapegoat.

There is also another colleague who keeps refusing to use our new team email address and I have sent it to this colleague and the external agency as this external agency needs to send our team an email yet she still keeps sending duff email addresses to this external agency. She won’t read her emails properly where I have told her the correct email address and when I have responded she has tried to blame me assuming I have ignored an email but our team won’t receive emails sent to an old email address.

I work hard and am efficient at my job but I don’t know how stop letting these awful people affect me. It’s a bit of a toxic place and a lot of people have experiences similar issues here. It’s really getting me down. I haven’t spoke to my line manager.
