Help me give my head a shake!

Luckily have been offered a new role - different to what I'm doing now - but my knowledge and experience in my current role is what swung it for me. they have offered a great package, more money, less hours, better progression the works! on paper it looks amazing
BUT - I cant get it out of my head that I should stay where I am

The company I work for aren't the best - they were - but over the past 18 months there have been various issues, not supportive at all, been working 10-12 hour days with no overtime payment, promised progression then taken it away at the last minute (along with the wage rise that wasn't linked to it) but because I have been there over 13 years I know the role inside and out, its my comfort blanket I suppose you could say

My question i guess - is once the excitement have worn off of getting the new role offer is it normal to have 2nd doubts??? Is it the change I'm anxious about rather than moving to what is a fantastic opportunity - someone give my head a shake - please!!!!!!

Last time I moved jobs I cried for days beforehand, I was so...I don't know what really...scared I suppose. But it turned out to be amazing.

It's clear your current employer is now a bit crap. It's time to move on and up. It's always scary to make a decision with imperfect information but you can never know whether a new job is right for you until you actually do it, so you will be stuck forever if you don't take a calculated risk.
