Interview outfit advice

I have some interviews lined up and need new outfits. I'm looking for advice on a minimalist/Scandi style outfits and am relatively budget conscious.
I'm a size 16/18 and quite big built but want something I feel good and confident in.
Any tips on what to buy/wear would be great.

Why dont you post on the fashion board? There are loads of amazing posters on there who will summon up outfit choices for you.

This board is more often used for issues in the work place.

Not to say we're not stylish too 😎 and I would consider the primark 'edit' for simple outfits on a budget. A bit smarter than their other ranges and some of the fabrics are a better quality.

Thanks! I couldn't find the fashion one, think I've found it now and posted there. More of a budget than primark but not too high end! Thanks for the tip, I might have a look in there anyway as I have a couple of nice shirts from primark anyway

Depends on the role, but if it was me (at this time of year), I'd wear well-cut wide-ish leg trousers and a neat, fine merino crew neck sweater on top in a neutral colour. With brogues (probably not fashionable, but it's what I've got) or chunky loafers.

Uniqlo do great fine merino jumpers (I've had mine for years) that aren't expensive. M&S good for wide-leg trousers.
