Morning. I have been qualified as a nurse for 25 years now in the NHS, looking to change abit. I am thinking about doing a foot health practitioner course, and an ear suctioning course. Perhaps with a view of leaving work. I'm 52. Has anyone had any thoughts on this ? Thanks in advance !

can you use your work to retrain in something?

Cysco · 04/10/2025 07:09

Only things that would benefit my current role which is quite specialised

I've had thoughts of doing exactly those businesses, but don't have your great background for it! I would look at how many of those people are operating in your area and take it from there. I think it's surely a good option as those services can't be automated, and we have an ageing population who will continue to need them for many decades to come.

Thankyou for this
